George Royer participates in oral history project for U.S. District Court

On March 7, 2016, Lanier Ford attorney George Royer interviewed former Alabama Attorney General Bill Baxley for the oral history project for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. The interview is now available on the website of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.

Mr. Royer served as an Alabama assistant attorney general (1972-1978) under Mr. Baxley during his two terms as attorney general (1971-1979). While serving as an assistant attorney general, Mr. Royer worked on the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, which resulted in the murder conviction of Robert Chambliss in 1977.
